How BowerLine collects, uses, stores and protects personal information.

Last updated: 3 September 2026

BowerLine (“we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains the personal information we collect through BowerLine websites, forms, communications and services, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.

1. What personal information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with BowerLine. At present, this may include:

  • your email address;
  • your first name, if you choose to provide it;
  • your consent to receive BowerLine Pro launch updates or other communications;
  • information you provide when contacting us;
  • basic website and technical information that may be collected automatically by our website platform, such as device, browser, IP address, page-view and cookie information.

We do not currently ask for broker credentials, portfolio information, trading account details or payment card information through the BowerLine Pro launch-list form.

2. Why we collect and use personal information

We may collect and use personal information to:

  • manage the BowerLine Pro launch list;
  • send launch updates and member-access news where you have asked us to do so;
  • respond to questions, support requests or other communications;
  • operate, secure and improve the BowerLine website and services;
  • maintain records of marketing consent and unsubscribe requests;
  • meet legal, regulatory, security and record-keeping obligations.

If BowerLine later activates paid subscriptions, private member delivery, payment processing or additional communication services, we will only collect information reasonably needed for those functions and will update this policy where necessary.

3. How we collect information

We generally collect personal information directly from you when you submit a form, join a launch list, contact us, subscribe to communications or use a BowerLine service. Some technical information may be collected automatically when you use the website.

4. Marketing communications and consent

We will only send BowerLine Pro launch updates and similar marketing communications where we have an appropriate basis to do so, including where you have provided consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in the communication or by contacting us.

We keep reasonable records of consent and unsubscribe requests so we can respect your communication preferences.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We may use trusted service providers to operate BowerLine. Current services include WordPress.com and Jetpack for website hosting and forms, and email services for BowerLine communications. Future BowerLine Pro services may also use payment processors, transactional email providers and Telegram for member delivery if and when those services are activated.

We may disclose personal information to service providers only where reasonably necessary for them to perform services for BowerLine, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law. We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas processing

Some technology and communications providers used by BowerLine operate internationally. As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside Australia in countries where those providers or their infrastructure operate. As BowerLine activates additional services, we will review and update this policy with further information where appropriate and practicable.

7. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps may include access controls, account security, service-provider safeguards and limiting access to people and systems that need the information.

No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If we become aware of a data incident, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable obligations.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business and record-keeping needs, or as required by law. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or de-identify it where appropriate.

9. Access and correction

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response and applicable privacy law gives you the right to do so, you may be able to raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

11. Cookies and website analytics

BowerLine’s website platform may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site operation, security, performance and analytics. Browser settings can be used to manage some cookies, although disabling them may affect website functionality.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as BowerLine, its services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
